Art direction

Visual concept, styling, choice of matter and lines. A consistent signature that runs through every shot.

Art direction gives each project a clear, coherent and instantly recognisable identity. Moodboards, styling, choice of materials, framing, colours and building a visual guideline: every detail is designed to create a shared language.
The goal: build a strong world, one that lives with precision across a shoot, a campaign, a website or all of your social media.

Frequently asked

What clients often ask

How does an art direction project unfold?

We start by understanding your identity, your positioning, your references and the goals of the project. From there, we build a consistent visual world that guides the whole content creation.

What does an art direction service include?

Depending on the needs, it can include creating moodboards, defining a palette, styling, choosing sets, materials, props, framing and lighting, along with the guiding principles that structure your visual identity. We also work with graphic designers specialised by field (culinary designers, designers dedicated to hospitality, and more) to build genuine brand imagery and deliver real consistency.

Can you create a visual identity from scratch?

Yes. We can start from a blank page or a world that is still loosely defined, to create a direction strong and recognisable enough to guide your future content.

Can you also work from an existing identity?

Of course. The goal is not necessarily to change everything. We can work from your existing brand guidelines and identity to enrich them, modernise them or translate them better into images.

Can art direction be designed for social media?

Yes. In particular, we can define feed consistency, framing principles, content types and a visual language that makes your brand instantly recognisable on Instagram and other platforms.

Can you art-direct a shoot without photographing it?

Yes. We can step in as art director only and collaborate with your photographer, videographer or agency, just as we can take on both the art direction and the making of the project. But to be fully transparent, we love handling the whole vision, all the way to production and final delivery.

How is the world validated before the shoot?

The main intentions are defined and presented upfront through moodboards and visual references. This lets us validate the aesthetic language together before moving on to production.

Can you create art direction for several campaigns or over the long term?

Yes. Art direction can be designed for a one-off campaign as well as to support a brand over several months, gradually building a consistent and recognisable world.
